Anna
is a beautiful black lab mix. She was rescued from animal control after
they allowed her to go to research for a week. When Anna came to us she
was completely malnourished and looked like a walking skeleton. After
about a week and a half in foster care she plumped up like a little
black raisin. Little Miss Anna is pregnant. Thank god animal control
did not realize she was pregnant or they would have put her to sleep.
As we all know they feed the bare minimum so the puppies were sucking
up everything Anna was taking in. As you can see in the pictures Anna
is now VERY fat with a tummy full of puppies. We hope they all survive
even though her pregnancy got off to a bad start.
The puppies will be available for adoption at approximately 7-8
weeks, once weaned from momma and socializing well with people. If I
had to guess I would say she will have about 9 little dumplings. Anna
will also be looking for a forever home as soon as her puppies are
weaned. She is a very loving & loyal dog, she is also excellent
with children. Anna is house trained, up to date on shots, and will be
spayed before she goes to her new home. If you are interested in

She would be happy to meet you even before her pups arrive; she
loves anyone that loves her. Anna gets along well with other dogs, we
are not sure about cats because the foster mom does not have any cats.
She is one of kindest most caring dogs we have ever had in rescue, she
will be sorely missed by her foster family.
